Need for Speed: Underground is a 2003 racing video game developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts. Released in 2003, two different games were produced: One for consoles and Microsoft Windows, and the other for Game Boy Advance.

Underground took a different turn than the rest of the Need for Speed games. It's the first game in the series to offer a career mode featuring a story, and a garage mode that allows players to fully customize cars with a huge selection of performance and visual upgrades.
