Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is a third-person psychological horror action-adventure video game developed by Silicon Knights and published by Nintendo. It was released in 2002 exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube.

Fun note: It is the first M-rated game EVER published by Nintendo and also was their first game released after Satoru Iwata became the President of Nintendo.. think Iwata likes horror much? Well, we do too!

The game resembles features from games like Resident Evil, but it distinguishes itself with some unique features, such as "sanity effects". In the game, players take on the role of several characters as they battle a powerful enemy who seeks to enslave all of humanity.
