Museum Donations Side Quest - Mega Man Legends

The Museum Donations Side Quest can be started when you gain access to Uptown during the game's main story. For this quest you will need to collect various items throughout the game and then donate them to the Museum. Once you've donated all of the items you can come back and retrieve your reward, a Prism Crystal. If you're having trouble finding where the Museum is, a picture of the building is shown in my screenshot above. It's the large odd-shaped building in the center of Uptown.

In order to start this quest you will need to talk with the girl painting near the boat shop in Uptown (pictured below). Tell her that the painting could use more red - once you've done this you'll need to fetch Lipstick from the women's clothing store in the Apple Market and return it to her so that she can finish her picture.

After she finishes her picture she will go to the Museum and open it up allowing you to enter and start this quest.

There are a total of 8 different items that you can donate to the Museum, most are obtained from Ruins throughout Kattlelox Island but a few are obtained through other Side Quests. Below is a list of all 8 items that you can donate to the Museum and where you can find them.

 

Antique Bell: Clozer Woods Sub-Gate. Inside this dungeon there is a large room with 4 pillars throughout and you have to jump on top of these pillars to reach the nearby ledges. The Antique Bell is found by searching one of the holes in these pillars; each pillar has a hole and 3 of them give Zenny - the last one gives this item.

Giant Horn: KTOX TV Mini Game (Technical Course). For this item you'll have to participate in the KTOX TV Mini Games, in particular the Racing Games. When you complete all 4 ranks of the Technical Course you'll be rewarded with this item.

Old Bone: Cardon Forest Sub-Gate. This item is found on the same ledge of the Spring Kit, search the hole nearby the door that leads to the room with the 3 mirrors and you'll find this item. If you need help finding it use the Cardon Forest Sub-Gate Map.

Old Doll: Cardon Forest Sub-Gate. Search a hole in the wall in the center room that the conveyor belt goes through. If you need help finding it use the Cardon Forest Sub-Gate Map.

Old Heater: Reward from Jim's Hideout Side Quest.

Old Shield: Ruins #4. This item is found inside of a hole in the wall tucked away between two ledges in the Ruins #4. Use the Kattlelox Ruins Map Locations if you need help finding it.

Shiny Object: Ruins #4. You can find this item inside of a hole in the wall; it's found in the hallway that connects Ruins #4 to Ruins #5. If you need help finding it use the Kattlelox Ruins Map Locations.

Shiny Red Stone: Main Gate. From the computer console that's involved in the main story you'll want to go southwest into the hallway past the dog Reaverbot. Search a hole in the wall to find this item. Use the Main Gate Map Locations picture for better guidance.

 

 

After you've delivered all 8 of these items to the Museum Curator speak with her again and she'll give you the Prism Crystal item. If she is being stubborn and not giving you the item leave the top floor of the Museum and come back to "soft reset" the area, she'll surrender the item once you do this.
