Snowpeak Ruins - Piece of Heart Locations

Can you guess how many pieces of heart are found in Snowpeak Ruins? If you guessed two, you're right! The second piece of heart is found in the first room of this dungeon but can only be obtained once you get the dungeon item, Ball and Chain.

The first piece of heart also requires the Ball and Chain to reach and is found about mid way through the dungeon. You'll need to smash a hole in the floor and then fall through to reach the chest that contains this piece of heart.

 

First Piece of Heart - Snowpeak Ruins

The first piece of heart for you to find in Snowpeak Ruins comes shortly after you defeat the dungeon mini boss and acquire the Ball and Chain. Early on in the second part of the dungeon you have to clear a room with two caged massive Freezard beasts (the big ice guys).

At the top of the room there's a spot on the floor you can smash in with your Ball and Chain. If you're confused at this point take a look at my screen shots - I am standing nearby where you smash the floor in to give you an idea of the nearby land marks.

I am standing in the room above where the Piece of Heart is found. The hole in front of me is where you drop down.

 

Second Piece of Heart - Snowpeak Ruins

The second piece of heart in Snowpeak Ruins is found in the entrance room of the dungeon much like the first two Poes. <Link for Poes> Unlike both of the Poes though, it's found on the second floor and requires the dungeon item, Ball and Chain, to reach.

Reaching it is fairly simple, what you need to do is whack the chandelier by the doors and jump on then you'll want to turn and face the door you entered the dungeon from, to the south. You'll see more chandeliers for you to whack, do so and keep jumping across until you come to the chest.
