Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku 2 Guides and Walkthroughs

Before I say anything else, I think it's worth noting that I am a giant Dragon Ball Z fan. I've watched the Japanese sub for both Super and Z entirely as well as the dub and I know quite a bit about the games. I don't really like the fighting DBZ games since they aren't the type of games I typically enjoy, but this game is a whole lot different.

Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku 2 is an action RPG set in the Dragon Ball universe and it's a really fun game to play, even without taking into consideration that it's Dragon Ball. The game picks up right after the first one left off (so right after the Freiza/Namek Arc) and it continues until the end of the Cell Arc.

It follows the show really close and a lot of the lines are the same in the game as they are in the show, an example is Vegeta tells Android 19 "Let me ask you, do androids experience fear?" right before their battle. Gohan's dialogue with cell before he goes SSJ2 is relatively the same too as it is in the show. In all honesty, the first game wasn't that good, but Legacy of Goku 2 really kicks things up a notch and is 100% worth playing if you're a fan of the series.

Early on in the game while you're searching for Dr. Gero's Lab you'll come across a very brightly colored house blasting music in the Northern Highlands. Inside of this house is one of the generators you have to destroy to gain entry to Dr. Gero's Lab. In order to open the door though, you'll need to turn on the correct switches in the cave found below this house.
