The Words of the Oracle - Act 1 Story Quest
The Words of the Oracle is the third primary quest in Act 1 of Titan Quest and it begins by speaking with Leonidas immediately after you complete Spartans At War. For the first part of this quest all you really need to do is travel to the town of Megara which and speak with Timon here.
Along the way you will run into a few Side Quests to complete, all of which are mentioned below. Out of the 3 mentioned Side Quests it is extremely important that you complete The Poisoned Spring as it will offer you a permanent boost to your overall HP. There are a few Side Quests like this in Titan Quest that you absolutely do not want to skip, I will mention them each time one is available in my walkthrough.
Side Quests In Area:
Upon speaking with Timon in Megara you'll update your quest and be given the reward of an additional Inventory Bag (woohoo!). You will also receive a new Side Quest, A Proper Offering, which will grant your a permanent reward of a +5% bonus to a random Resistance. Much like the previous Side Quest you do not want to skip this one.
Grab the Portal in Megara as well as the other two Side Quests then exit north out of town. On your way to the next town you'll encounter a really tough enemy in Halcyon Coast by the name of Polyphemus. It is the first cyclops enemy that you'll be fighting in the game and it will instill the appropriate fear in you when it comes to these enemies.
Some people stop at this point in the game to farm Polyphemus a few times before continuing since his loot table is so exceptional for where we are right now. It's up to you if you'd like to take this route. It's worth noting too that the Majestic Chest that Polyphemus guards is the best type of chest in the game. Always open Majestic Chests while playing and occasionally you'll get some really good loot!

Shortly after Polyphemus you'll come across the Ambrossos Farmlands where The Good Centaur Side Quest takes place. This is yet another Side Quest you can complete that offers you a permanent reward so I recommend you stop and finish it too. After the Ambrossos Farmlands you'll find another town, the Village of Ambrossos. Grab the available quests in this village then travel northwest out of town until you find yourself in Helicos Pass.
In Helicos Pass/Olive Grove you'll be able to pick up the item we need for A Proper Offering Side Quest, which as previously stated gives a great permanent reward. There are a few more areas that you will have to run through before arriving in Delphi as well as a few more Side Quests to complete. I recommend you do them all but you can skip ones you don't feel like doing too.
Once you arrive in Delphi you'll want to speak with Delphic Oracle of Apollo (pictured below) to complete your quest. Completion of this quest will automatically begin the followup, The Source of the Monsters.
